Lindy101 - $40
(Beginner/Intermediate) 7:30 Thursday nights - is an Introduction to Swing & Lindy Hop. We encourage you to take this class even if you have been dancing for a while, because Beginning Lindy Hoppers HURT and CONFUSE their partners – we know you don’t mean to – but this class will clean all that up and make you smoooooooth and enjoyable to dance with. What do you have to lose because did I mention that it is FREE? Perfect Attendance gets 6-weeks for FREE! Pre-requisite: must be able to stand or walk. Moves: Blues Movement, SwingOut, InsidePass, and Inside Turn
Lindy201 - $40
(Intermediate) 6:15 Thursday nights - is for Lindy Hoppers that have been hopping for at least 3 months or a graduate of Lindy101. This class fine tunes your connection and timing and smooth out transitions. Or allows students to learn the other part (guys learning to Follow or gals learning to Lead). No matter what your experience, please continue focusing on basic technique and fundamentals. This class starts at 6:15 sharp but hopes students make an evening with us and reviews Lindy101 again to help out the struggling newbies and make some new friends! Pre-requisite: Lindy101, LindyLevel1, or an actual 8-count Lindy Class. Moves Taught: Outside Turn, Basket Whip, Dip, Swing Out from Closed, and Lindy Circle, Swivels, Connection Exercises, Tuck Turns, and all Transitions.
Lindy301 - $30
(Advanced) 7:00 Thursday nights - is a Swinging Towards Social Dancing Class (sometimes Swinging Toward Peformance Class. Not interested in performing? No Problem. You'll get more practice and social skills. We usually teach one move a week and several ways to get into and out of it. This keeps the Follows honest in thier following and allows the Lead to think ahead without the instructor "calling" the moves. Either way, this class will create confidence in social-dancing skills. It can be taught by guest instructors, but most often will be taught by Wendy. Lindy301 is $30 for all 6 weeks. This class starts at 7:00 SHARP but hopes that students take both Lindy201 as a warm up AND Lindy101 to help out the struggling newbies. As always, includes Practice Dance. Prerequisite: you must have TAKEN Lindy201 or have 3 months of 8-count Lindy Hop/Swing experience.
Swing Bling - $5
(Intermediate/Advanced) 7:00 Thursday nights - is for Lindy Hoppers that have been hopping for at least 6 months or graduate of Lindy301. This is actually the 301 class, but not unless you've taken 301 before. Or if you have 6-months of Lindy Hop experience and you cannot commit to the full 6 weeks. Pre-requisite: Lindy301. Moves Taught: COOL Tricks, COOL Moves - always a surprise! Obviously, this class is free for(paying) 301 students.
